I like the occasional vampire flick as much as the next guy, but this pop vampirism business has so saturated our culture in recent years that it’s diluting whatever marginal scariness these creatures might still have had. I think it must be some kind of Jewish chutzpah and arrogant, barely cryptic method of self-revelation at work, for the media to keep these images of bloodsucking and parasitism constantly before the public. They’re basically turning all of America’s young people into predatory creatures of the night like themselves and making a joke out of it.

    • Personally I prefer werewolves, but ya, vampires and yids. I always thought it was particularly telling how they have such an aversion to crosses and crucifixes.
